Industrial Engineering Co-op The Industrial Engineering Co-op supports continuous improvement initiatives by analyzing processes, collecting data, and assisting with projects that improve safety, quality, productivity, and cost efficiency. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing or business environment while applying engineering principles learned in the classroom. Responsibilities Assist with time studies, process mapping, and workflow analysis. Collect, analyze, and interpret operational data. Support continuous improvement and Lean Manufacturing initiatives. Help identify and implement process improvements to increase efficiency and reduce waste. Create and maintain standard work instructions and process documentation. Assist in capacity planning, labor analysis, and production studies. Support project teams with root cause analysis and problem-solving activities. Prepare reports, presentations, and recommendations for management. Minimum Qualifications Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or related field. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with data analysis tools is a plus. Excellent communication and organizational skills. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment. Preferred Qualifications Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with statistical analysis and engineering software. Previous internship, co-op, or manufacturing experience preferred but not required.
